Michelle McCool is a creative director for fashion brands and Fortune 500 companies. She specializes in brand image, visual marketing and product development. Michelle enjoys bringing together content, brand marketing elements, and commerce to create a powerful strategy for future growth. She has twenty years experience in the fashion and beauty arena having held fashion creative director and editor positions at Cosmopolitan, Allure, Glamour and Elle magazines. As the fashion creative director of Cosmopolitan, Michelle led a team of art directors, designers, stylists, writers and photographers to produce on brand messaging across print, digital, video, and licensing platforms.

Michelle served as the creative director of the Cosmopolitan brand of lingerie, shoes and handbags for JC Penney. Her intrinsic mix of style and commerce led to over 100 million dollars in sales the first year. This ignited a passion for retail specifically, bridging the gap between the editorial and commercial worlds. As a fashion editor, Michelle traveled to all major fashion weeks spotting trends and learning about the DNA of each brand. This analytical skill helps her identify the strengths and vision of each client.

Michelle enjoys sharing her expertise by speaking at universities and corporate conferences. She is an on-air contributor to Today, E!, Bravo and New York Live and a contributing editor at Hamptons. She received a B.A. in European History from Wesleyan University and did post graduate work at Columbia University School of Journalism. Michelle resides in New York City with her husband and two children.
